Sheridan County Commissioners recently approved the Sackett Subdivision Final Plat during their regular meeting. County Planner Mark Reid provided details on the plat, stating that the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) gave a non-adverse recommendation for the proposed water and sewer systems. SAWS is the proposed water provider for the subdivision.
The applicant, Steve Bush, applied for a subdivision permit for land located on US 87 south of the town on 14.29 acres, which is owned and zoned as rural residential. The preliminary plat was considered by the board in January, and the county commissioners approved the variance for a dead-end road in excess of 1,200 feet.
