Residents of Moulton, a small town in southern Iowa, are still trying to process a shooting that occurred at a home on East Third Street. The incident, which left four people injured, has been described as shocking and difficult to accept by neighbors.

Neighbors have expressed their shock and concern over the violence, with one resident, Starr Kester, saying, “It just didn’t seem real.” Another resident, Samantha Duffy, noted that the shooting has brought the community together, with many people checking in on each other.
A 17-year-old, Drakona Clark, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder and three counts of willful injury in connection with the shooting. He is being held in the Appanoose County Jail on an $85,000 cash-only bond.
The Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident, with assistance from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and other agencies.
