The Florida Highway Patrol has captured its fourth consecutive title in the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) annual ‘Best Looking Cruiser’ competition. The organization announced the win following a late surge in voting.
Competition Details
The Michigan State Police held the lead for the majority of the 13th annual contest before a final-weekend push by Florida’s communications team and supporters flipped the results. The Florida Highway Patrol’s signature black-and-tan vehicles ultimately overtook Michigan’s ‘Blue Goose’ cruisers in total votes.
According to the AAST, Florida’s victory relied heavily on the strategic involvement of law enforcement partners, elected officials, and public digital campaigns during the closing days of the event.
The first-place winner, the Florida Highway Patrol, will receive the official ‘Best Looking Cruiser Award’ and will be featured on the cover of the AAST’s upcoming ‘America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2027 Wall Calendar.’ The remaining top 12 runners-up will fill out the subsequent months of the calendar.
