The University of Wyoming Extension and the Wyoming Department of Health have launched a free wellness program to encourage outdoor activities and healthy choices across the state. The three-month program, called Ready, Set, Thrive, runs through September.
Program Details
Registered participants receive a monthly email with activity suggestions. Options include trying new walking paths, making fruit smoothies, planting herbs or checking blood pressure.
Organizers encourage families, neighbors and roommates to join the program together. Participants can register at any time during July, August and September through the registration link.
Those who complete at least four monthly activities and turn in a completion form win small prizes each month. People who finish the requirements for all three months earn an annual day-use pass for Wyoming State Parks, which covers vehicle entry fees but excludes camping costs.
