Iowa State Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard shared an update on the project, stating that the momentum is building and that the progress ties together athletics, the university’s research park, and the city of Ames. The CyTown project aims to bring together various aspects of the university and the community, creating a great place to live, work, and play.
Pollard also mentioned that the university is preparing to welcome country music star Luke Combs to Jack Trice Stadium in April. The event is expected to draw a large crowd and contribute to the local economy.
