Hyde Park Square business, Green Farm Juicery, is relocating to a new location amid controversial redevelopment plans for the area. The juice bar, currently located at 2727 Erie Avenue, will move to 3431 Edwards Road, the former site of the Macaron Bar.
Redevelopment Plans
The redevelopment project, which includes about 160 residential units, shops, restaurants, a new plaza, and an underground parking garage, has been met with backlash from residents. The original proposal, which included a new hotel, was scaled back last month after widespread opposition.
Green Farm Juicery’s founder, Mara Boord, stated that the business is committed to staying in Hyde Park and is excited about the new location. The company describes itself as a ‘100% juice’ brand, using only natural ingredients from fruits, vegetables, and plants.
