A 34-year-old New Haven resident is dead after a motorcycle crash on State Street. Police found a three-wheeled motorcycle crashed into the gate of a building with a male under it.
The initial investigation showed the motorcycle was traveling south on State Street prior to the crash, which might have happened several hours earlier. No other vehicle is believed to be involved.
The Crash Reconstruction Unit responded and took over the investigation. Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information valuable to investigators to call detectives.
