The Port St. Lucie Soccer Club has released renderings of its planned 6,000-seat stadium, which will be located next to the MIDFLORIDA Event Center along U.S. 1. The renderings, posted on the team’s website, showcase not only the stadium but also plans for a bar, a restaurant, and retail shops.

Zach Woods, a Port St. Lucie resident who lives near the proposed site, expressed his excitement about the project. “I really think that there’s nothing to do in PSL for the most part. And I think this may be the first cool thing that we ever actually brought here,” he said.
However, some residents have voiced concerns about the project, specifically about added traffic in an already congested area. “Nobody said anything about the noise complaint, because it’s going to be bloody loud,” Vincent Rowan said. “I’m a little worried about safety, drunks, noise, traffic,” Jennifer Harris said.
The Port St. Lucie Soccer Club is set to begin play in 2027, with the stadium expected to be completed in 2028. The city must still approve a site plan for the stadium construction before any building can begin.
