Federal officials announced a recall of WonderStone infant walkers sold exclusively on Walmart.com because the products violate safety regulations and present a severe fall risk.
The recall includes the green and pink WonderStone infant walkers featuring a gray fabric seat, a white tray with a removable music box, six wheels, a foot pad and a white hand lever. Consumers can identify the recalled products by looking under the tray for a white label printed with “Model No: 616” or “Model No: 616-1.”
According to the consumer safety notice, the infant walkers can easily fit through a standard doorway and do not stop at the edge of steps, posing a risk of serious injury or death from falls. No injuries have been reported so far.
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and reach out to Wonder Stone Toys to get a full refund. To receive the refund, consumers must take apart the walker, cut the fabric seat, write “Recalled” on top of the tray with a permanent marker and email a photograph of the destroyed walker to [email protected].
