Pullman Market in San Antonio is offering a variety of events in July, including pizza-making classes at Fife & Farro. Chef Josh Davis, who returned to the kitchen after a break, is teaching patrons how to make pizza alongside chefs de partie Bella Garcia and Luis Solano.
Pizza-Making Classes
The classes are held Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and cost $30 per adult and $20 for children 12-and-under. In 20 minutes, the Fife & Farro team shows guests how to stretch out pizza sourdough, apply sauce, add cheese and toppings, and slide the pie into the oven.
Davis, who has worked under elite chefs and ran his own restaurant, said he was drawn back to the kitchen by the opportunity to work at Fife & Farro. "I love it," he said. "I was on my way out of the restaurant industry. I wouldn’t have come back for anybody but for Kevin Fink and the team at Pullman Market. I respect what they’re doing and their philosophy of food."
Other Events
In addition to pizza-making classes, Pullman Market is hosting other events in July, including Mariachi Nights at the Mezcalaria, happy hour specials, and live music. The market is also offering ceviche classes, a collaborative dinner with chef Toby Archibald, and live fire grilling on Saturdays and Sundays.
