Woodland Park had plenty to cheer about this week as two beloved community traditions came together to mark the heart of summer.
America’s Mountain Festival welcomed a vibrant Western Art Show featuring 51 original works from seventeen artists, giving residents and visitors alike a chance to experience the beauty and spirit of the West right in their own backyard.
The festivities came on the heels of Woodland Park’s Fourth of July celebration, which returned with its signature mix of watermelon, pie, and patriotic fun — a community tradition that continues to bring neighbors together each Independence Day.
Together, the two events showcased what makes Woodland Park such a special place: a strong sense of community, a love of local culture, and a mountain spirit that shines brightest when people gather to celebrate.
