Pro wrestling is coming to the beach in New Jersey as Fight Factory Wrestling hosts The War on the Shore 3 on July 14. The event will take place near Martell’s Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant Beach, featuring a stacked card with wrestlers like Joey Janela, Ben Bishop, and Lady Frost.

The Event

Dave Sturchio, one of the minds behind Fight Factory Wrestling, talked about getting started in the sport and the idea behind hosting a wrestling event on the beach. Sturchio and his partner, Chris Payne, initially got started wrestling in 2012 but went their separate ways before reuniting in 2024 to start the Fight Factory Podcast.

The idea for The War on the Shore came from Payne, who wanted to host a wrestling show on the beach, similar to World Championship Wrestling’s Bash at the Beach. Sturchio was hesitant at first but eventually came on board and helped make the event a reality.

The Card

The War on the Shore 3 features a number of exciting matches, including the reformation of The Heavenly Bodies tag team with Justin and Mark Corino. Lady Frost will be in action against De Lander and Katch, while Bishop defends the Fight Factory Premier Championship against Holliday and Vaughn. Janela will take on Jay Lethal for the first time ever, and the event will feature a rumble and a tiki totem on a pole.
