A massive jellyfish bloom was discovered near Bude Sea Pool in Cornwall, leaving visitors and staff in awe. The mix of moon jellyfish, barrel jellyfish, and blue jellyfish covered the pool’s concrete terrace and filled the shallows.
Staff then filled a total of 16 wheelbarrows and 40 garden baskets with the gelatinous creatures. A spokesperson for Bude Sea Pool said: “It was one of the biggest jellyfish blooms we’ve ever seen in the pool.”
Thanks to the incredible efforts of our pool staff, the jellyfish were cleared quickly and safely, allowing visitors to enjoy the pool as normal.
