The US men’s national team is out of the World Cup after a 4-1 loss to Belgium in the Round of 16 in Seattle on Monday.

Belgium took the lead inside 10 minutes with a goal from Charles De Ketelaere. The US equalized with a free kick from Malik Tillman in the 31st minute, but De Ketelaere scored again just 61 seconds later to put Belgium back in front.
In the second half, US goalie Matt Freese made a critical mistake, losing the ball with no one protecting the net, and Hans Vanaken scored from long range. The final goal was scored by Romelu Lukaku in second-half stoppage time, making it 4-1 for Belgium.
