Hartford residents have plenty of reasons to get outside and enjoy the season, with two free community offerings drawing neighbors together this summer.

A beloved Connecticut music series has returned, bringing free lunchtime concerts back to Hartford. The series, which has delighted audiences in past years, is once again offering residents a chance to enjoy live music at no cost — a welcome tradition for downtown workers, families, and visitors alike. A full lineup of performers has been announced, giving music lovers plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.

Meanwhile, as the city joined the nation in marking America’s 250th birthday, the Bushnell Carousel offered free rides to celebrate the milestone. The festive gesture gave Hartford families a fun, no-cost way to mark the historic occasion together at Bushnell Park.
