Trump declared in a Truth Social post that he waited for people to come back, and it was an ‘even more spectacular evening’ than it would have been. He congratulated the Secret Service and Law Enforcement on getting people back into the arena quickly.
The festivities were part of the country’s 250th anniversary celebrations. Despite the initial cancellation, the event resumed, and a massive fireworks show began at midnight.
