High school students who took Advanced Placement (AP) tests during the 2025-2026 school year will soon be able to see their scores. Starting Monday, July 6, students’ scores will be available on the College Board’s website.
Accessing AP Scores
AP scores can be accessed through the College Board’s website via the student’s College Board account. Students can access their account or create a new one if they don’t have one. The College Board advises against creating a new account if one already exists, as this can delay receiving scores.
AP exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5, with most colleges allowing students to receive credit and skip a course equivalent to the one they took in high school if they score a 3 or higher.
What is the AP Exam?
An AP exam is a standardized exam that measures how much a student has mastered the subject material of their AP course throughout the school year. Different AP courses include AP English Language and Composition, AP Art History, AP African American Studies, and AP United States History, among others.
