An Alabama boy was recently reunited with his favorite toy, Woody, after it went missing during a trip to the movies in Opelika. The boy’s mother, Sandi Langley, described her son’s heartbreak in a Facebook post, saying, “We have a heartbroken little boy who would love to have him back.”
However, little did the boy or his mother know, Woody had gone on an adventure with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office gave a rundown of Woody’s activities, which included learning about car seat safety, going through a metal detector, and eating doughnuts, pizza, and candy.
Woody also had a sit-down with Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones, who reminded the toy not to go on big adventures without telling someone again. Fortunately, Woody is now back home with the boy and his fellow toys, bringing an end to the heartwarming story.
