A group of masked men, some carrying Confederate flags, were seen marching in Washington, D.C. on the Fourth of July. The crowd was heard chanting ‘Reclaim America, reclaim America’ in a video captured near Union Station.
Some members of the group were seen carrying flags that appear to depict the Patriot Front logo, which the Anti-Defamation League describes as a white supremacist group. The group called for getting rid of illegal immigrants.
Videos on social media appear to show the group marching near the Washington Metro station and riding the Metro. Finn Gomez, a Getty Images photographer, shared an image of people in face masks and apparent Patriot Front gear riding the Metro.
