How to Play

To play the Mega Millions, you must buy a ticket for $5 and pick six numbers: five white balls numbered from 1 to 70 and one gold Mega Ball numbered from 1 to 24.

Players can also use the Easy Pick or Quick Pick option to have the computer randomly generate numbers.

Mega Millions tickets now include a built-in multiplier that increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five, or 10 times.

The last time someone won the Mega Millions jackpot was over three months ago, when a person from Ohio took home $60 million on St. Patrick’s Day.

The top 10 Mega Millions jackpots include $1.602 billion on August 8, 2023, in Florida, and $1.537 billion on October 23, 2018, in South Carolina.
