A bus headed to Islamabad from Quetta in Pakistan’s southwestern province of Balochistan fell into a deep roadside ditch on Friday, resulting in the deaths of 40 people and injuring eight others.
According to a rescue agency and a government official, there were 48 passengers on board the bus at the time of the accident.
