Conair has recalled 1,719,995 grill brushes sold under the Cuisinart brand due to small metal wire bristles detaching and posing an ingestion hazard. The recall was announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which reported at least 54 incidents of bristles detaching, including three cases where consumers swallowed the bristles and required medical treatment.
Affected Models
The recall affects several Cuisinart grill brush models, including the CCB-100 Triple Bristle Grill Cleaning Brush, CCB-4125 4-in-1 Grill Cleaning Brush with Stainless Steel Wire Bristles, and others. These brushes were sold at various retailers, including Burlington, TJ Maxx, and Ross stores, as well as online at Cuisinart.com and Amazon.com.
Consumers who have purchased these grill brushes can contact Conair for a refund or a credit for an online purchase. The company will provide a refund plus 20% of the cash refund for online purchases.
