The Pelican Bay Aquatic Center in Edmond, Oklahoma, will open for a shorter season starting on July 18. The city launched renovations after the pool was found to be leaking thousands of gallons of water each day.
The renovations included new concrete decks, spray grounds, kids’ slides, and other improvements that should extend the center’s life for another 25 years.
