Intelligence Ventures, a Lakewood Ranch-based venture capital firm, is set to launch a 10-week accelerator program for artificial intelligence-powered healthcare startups. The program, which will begin its first cohort in September, aims to support 10 startups with a $25,000 investment each.
Program Details
The accelerator will focus on four key verticals: biotechnology and pharma tools, medical devices, diagnostics, and healthcare software as a service. The program will be based in the Tampa Bay area, with online programming for nine weeks, culminating in a demo day in New York City where founders will pitch their businesses to investors.
Intelligence Ventures has already invested in five startups since its establishment in May 2025. The company has received over 700 applications, but has only supported less than one percent of these companies. The accelerator program aims to provide the necessary support and resources to help these startups succeed.
The program will cover topics such as regulatory strategy, marketing, and other relevant areas. Sponsors, including banking and accounting providers, will participate and help educate the founders. Each startup will receive a $25,000 investment from Intelligence Ventures, with the possibility of an additional $25,000 investment in top performers after demo day.
