The Milwaukee Bucks have signed forward Bogoljub Markovic to a multi-year contract. Markovic, the 47th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, started in all 29 games last season with Mega Basket in Serbia’s Adriatic League (ABA), and was named ABA League MVP after averaging 18.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 blocked shot in 31.8 minutes per game.
Markovic’s Background
Markovic (6-11, 220-pounds) played in 30 games (29 starts) in his first season with Mega Basket, averaging 13.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 28.9 minutes per game while shooting 53.8% from the field. In his first full ABA season, Markovic was named the 2024-25 Adriatic Basketball Association Best Young Player and received ABA Player of the Month honors two times.
Prior to joining Mega Basket, Markovic appeared in 28 games (23 starts) with OKK Beograd in Serbia’s KLS during the 2023-24 season. He also participated in Basketball Without Borders (BWB) camps in 2022 and 2023, including the BWB Global Camp at 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend.
