A Little Elm charter school educator who was taken into custody last month on child sex offense allegations is now facing additional charges.

The Little Elm Police Department reported that 30-year-old Eric Moore was arrested again Thursday as the criminal probe continues.

Moore surrendered himself at the police department to be booked on further counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact.

Also on Thursday, a grand jury issued an indictment on the initial set of charges against him.

Moore, who had worked at North Texas Collegiate Academy’s East Campus in Denton County, was first arrested in January.

Officials say evidence of sexual abuse was uncovered following a report filed on Jan. 7.

He was placed on administrative leave the same day the report was made and later resigned from his position.

His original arrest included one count of indecency with a child and four counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child.

Neither law enforcement nor the school has released additional details, so the number of alleged victims and their connection to Moore remain unclear.

The ages of the alleged victims have also not been disclosed.
