An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.0 struck in the Gulf of California on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake was reported at 12:45 p.m. about 46 miles south-southwest of El Progreso, Mexico. It had a depth of 6 miles.
Local Response to Venezuela Earthquakes
