A woman was pushing her one-year-old child in a stroller on the Mascoutin Valley Trail when a man grabbed her around the neck and put a white cloth over her mouth. She was able to fight the man off and run to a nearby home with her child to call 911.
The woman’s description of the suspect, along with help from witnesses and security cameras, led to a Rosendale home. Authorities executed a search warrant and took the man into custody.
He’s in the Fond du Lac County Jail facing possible charges of attempt kidnapping, false imprisonment, and battery.
