The Jefferson County Fair Board announced on Monday that this year’s fair will not include carnival rides. The fair’s carnival operator informed the board that they would not be able to attend due to a lack of employees.
The fair board attempted to find another carnival operator but was unsuccessful. Despite the absence of carnival rides, the fair will still take place from July 22nd to 25th.
