The Nashville Predators signed forward Jack Drury to a five-year, $22.5 million contract on Sunday night. Drury, 26, is coming off a season where he played all 82 regular-season games for the Colorado Avalanche, setting a career high with 10 goals and matching his career high with 27 points.
Predators’ General Manager Comments
“Jack Drury is a hard-working, reliable, full-sheet of the ice center who can handle the tough assignments while being elite in the faceoff circle,” Predators general manager and president of hockey operations Chris MacFarland said in a team press release after the trade. “His addition to our forward group bolsters our depth in the middle of the ice, and we’re thrilled to have him.”
A second-round pick by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2018, Drury has amassed 30 goals and 52 assists in 268 regular-season games for the Hurricanes (2021-25) and Avalanche (2025-26). His 58.1% faceoff win percentage was the fifth-highest in the league among players who contested 900 or more faceoffs.
