Wichita golfers young and old have a great reason to hit the links together this summer. The City of Wichita is inviting families to team up for its Parent Junior Tournament, a fun golf event designed to bring parents and their junior players out to enjoy the game side by side.
The tournament, announced through Wichita.gov, is billed as a family-friendly competition where the focus is as much on shared experience as it is on scorecards. It offers a wonderful opportunity for parents and kids to bond over a round of golf while connecting with other families in the community.
And if golf isn’t enough to fill the summer calendar, Wichita has even more warm-weather fun on the horizon. The city is also hosting its Audacy Summer Concert Series, giving residents another reason to get outside and enjoy the season together.
Both events reflect the city’s ongoing commitment to providing residents of all ages with opportunities to gather, play, and make lasting memories right here in Wichita.
