A man from Ellington has died after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 91 South in Hartford early Saturday morning.
State police said 22-year-old Colby James David Upson, of Ellington, was traveling the wrong way on I-91 and was going north in the southbound lanes when he collided with another vehicle.
Upson became separated from his motorcycle after the crash and suffered serious injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene, troopers added.
The other driver was not injured in the collision. The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information should contact TFC John Wilson #1060 at [email protected].
