Three student-athletes from the Denton area have received one of the highest honors in Texas high school track and field, earning spots on the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) super elite teams, according to the Denton Record-Chronicle.
The recognition places these athletes among the very best in the state, a testament to the hard work they and their coaches have put in throughout the season. The THSCA super elite designation is reserved for the top performers across Texas, making the achievement a standout milestone for Denton-area athletics.
The honor caps what has been a strong year for local track and field programs and shines a spotlight on the depth of athletic talent developing right here in Denton County. Earning a super elite nod from the THSCA is a distinction that can open doors to collegiate opportunities and signals that Denton’s student-athletes are competing — and excelling — at the highest levels in the Lone Star State.
Congratulations to these three rising stars and to the coaches and families who have supported them along the way. Denton is proud of you!
