The Boise Music Festival is one of the biggest parties Idaho throws all year. Thousands of people gather to enjoy incredible live music, carnival rides, amazing food, and a day spent celebrating summer with friends and family.
Lineup and Activities
This year’s Dollar Loan Center Main Stage lineup includes top artists, and three local stages will feature over 25 Idaho artists and bands throughout the day. Whether you’re there for throwback hits, country, pop, rock, or discovering local talent, there’s something happening all day long.
Stay hydrated by bringing an empty water bottle into the festival and refilling it at water stations located throughout Expo Idaho. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, but over 40 food vendors will be on-site serving a variety of options.
What to Bring and Not to Bring
Allowed items include empty water bottles, soccer chairs, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes. Not allowed items include tents, umbrellas, coolers, outside food and drinks, weapons or firearms, and pets.
Carnival rides will be available for the whole family, with options for kid-friendly attractions, midway games, classic carnival rides, and thrill rides. Ticket options include a carnival wristband with general admission, carnival only, or individual ride tickets.
Parking and Transportation
Parking is free, and rideshare pickup and drop-off is located at the corner of Midway and Glenwood. If you’ve already purchased tickets online, have your QR code ready before you reach the gate. General Admission, Carnival Passes, and Pit Passes will also be available for purchase at the gate on event day.
Children ages 8 and under receive free General Admission when accompanied by an adult. Note that Pit Pass entry requires a ticket regardless of age, and no re-entry will be allowed after 5:00 p.m.
