Mayor Van R. Johnson, II, and City Manager Jay Melder invite residents to attend Savannah at Night, an evening community engagement event designed to connect residents directly with City leadership and provide updates on important initiatives impacting Savannah neighborhoods.
Event Details
The event will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2026, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Kingdom Life Christian Fellowship Church, 425 W. Montgomery Cross Road. During the event, residents will hear updates from several City departments, including Savannah Police, Savannah Fire, Capital Projects, and Neighborhood Safety & Engagement.
City leaders will also share information on Savannah’s ongoing efforts to address homelessness, including findings and progress outlined in the City’s five-year homelessness report. Residents will have the opportunity to learn more about City projects, ask questions, and engage directly with staff about issues affecting their community.
