San Antonio is noticing a haze in the sky, which is a common occurrence during the summer. The haze is a mixture of smoke from fires in Mexico and a light plume of Saharan dust. Most people won’t even notice it, but the haze is expected to stick around through the weekend.
Hot, but No Triple Digits
It will be steadily hot in the foreseeable future, but San Antonio has yet to hit 100°. In fact, today marks the city’s average first 100-degree day. Although triple digits are not expected, the heat index will make it feel like it’s above 100 during the afternoon due to humidity.
There is a very small chance of a shower on Sunday, but the prospects for any rainfall are dim to finish out June and start July.
