The 34th annual Mistletoe Market kicked off today at the Bennett Event Center in Oklahoma City, bringing together a record‑breaking 128 merchants for holiday shoppers and community supporters alike. Organizers say the event is the largest in its history, featuring a wide range of goods—from women’s boutiques and men’s apparel to leather goods, pet gear, and gourmet foods.
Vendors Celebrate Tradition and Growth
“We have everything that you could be looking for to cross off everything on your Christmas list,” said Ashley Feeback, chair of the Mistletoe Market. “We’ve got women’s boutiques, we’ve got men’s stuff, we’ve got leather goods, we’ve got pet gear, gourmet food.” Feeback highlighted that the market now hosts 128 merchants, filling the venue and creating a bustling atmosphere for families and friends.
Long‑time vendor Crystal Bland echoed the sentiment, noting that the market has become a cherished holiday tradition. “We’ve been a vendor here at Mistletoe Market for over a decade now, and it’s just so fun. What a tradition. You see families and friends coming in with matching sweaters, and it’s just really sweet,” she said.
Tickets Fund Junior League Programs
Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, and free for children twelve and under. All ticket sales and vendor booth fees flow directly to the Junior League of Oklahoma City, which uses the proceeds to support a variety of community initiatives. “We have partners all over Oklahoma City. And we’re spending money on buying shoes for the kids at Boys and Girls Club to complete the kids marathon,” explained Jenny Cripps of the Junior League.
Cripps also described the League’s annual contributions to local schools: “We decorate the classrooms and do wish lists for the teachers at Positive Tomorrows every year. Our volunteer coordinator that we work with there calls it making Christmas magic.” She emphasized that every ticket and booth purchase “goes straight back into the community,” allowing shoppers to find gifts while supporting a “wonderful cause.”
Community Impact and Future Leaders
The market runs through Sunday, giving residents ample time to browse, shop, and give back. Organizers stress that the event not only boosts local businesses but also helps develop future community leaders by providing a platform for entrepreneurs and volunteers to connect with families across the city.
With more than 100 vendors and a strong partnership network, the Mistletoe Market exemplifies how holiday commerce can serve a higher purpose—strengthening Oklahoma City’s neighborhoods, supporting nonprofit programs, and fostering a spirit of generosity during the season.
