Women across Kenosha are invited to gather for the next quarterly meeting of 100+ Women Who Care Kenosha on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Founders Hall on the Kemper Center grounds, 6501 3rd Ave. Registration opens at 5 p.m., and the program begins at 5:30 p.m.
Each participant contributes a donation when they arrive: $100 for women 40 and older, $50 for women ages 20‑39, and $20 for women ages 13‑19. Donors may also nominate a local nonprofit that meets the group’s eligibility criteria—registered 501(c)(3) organizations that serve Kenosha County residents.
How the evening works
At every meeting three nominated charities are drawn at random to give a brief presentation. After hearing the pitches, attendees vote, and the winning nonprofit receives all of the money collected that night. At the Aug. 11, 2026 meeting, the charity Sleep in Heavenly Peace was selected and received $3,900 in donations.
Community impact
Since its founding in 2018, 100+ Women Who Care Kenosha has directed more than $297,000 to local nonprofits. Past beneficiaries include the ELCA Outreach Center, Western Kenosha County Special Olympics, Matthias Academy, God’s Kitchen, Kenosha Literacy Council, KAFASI, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Just Live Inc., 1Hope, Kenosha Human Development Services, Habitat for Humanity Kenosha, the Kenosha Public Library, the Woman’s Club of Kenosha, and the Kenosha Welcome Center.
The gathering also provides a valuable networking opportunity for women who share a commitment to charitable service. No advance registration is required; on‑site registration is available starting at 5 p.m.
