100 Middle Schoolers Join Arizona’s Noah, Dash Fifita at Faith Football Camp

Roughly 100 middle school football players spent April 17, 2026, taking part in the Second First Down Faith Football Camp, where they worked directly with current Arizona players. The gathering gave young athletes a chance to learn from college-level talent and to experience a day focused on skill development, teamwork and character.

Hosts for the event included Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita and his brother, Wildcat linebacker Dash, who led on-field drills and offered one-on-one tips. Their presence helped bridge the gap between youth and collegiate play, letting middle schoolers see the effort and preparation required at the next level.

The camp blended position-specific instruction with fundamental drills — passing, route running, tackling technique and footwork — tailored to the age and ability of the participants. Coaches and college players broke groups into smaller stations so kids could get more repetitions and direct feedback, then rotated to keep the day active and engaging.

Beyond the Xs and Os, the event emphasized character-building and community. Sessions included teamwork exercises and brief talks on sportsmanship, leadership and balancing athletics with school. The faith-centered element of the camp added another layer, encouraging participants to apply positive values on and off the field.

For many of the middle schoolers, the camp was a chance to be inspired and to raise their level of play while forming connections with current Arizona players and local coaches. Events like this aim to strengthen the local pipeline of young athletes and to create lasting mentorships that benefit both the players and the community around the program.
