The 2026 World Cup group-stage games have more than lived up to the hype. Now the action is about to get even better. The Round of 32 is up next in the tournament, a new addition following the increase from 32 teams to 48.
Qualified Teams and Schedule
Eight of the 12 third-place teams have qualified, which will give some teams more favorable matchups than others. The games will run from Sunday, June 28 to Friday, July 3. There will be three games per day except for a solo match on June 28.
These nations have punched their tickets to the Round of 32 so far. The schedule for the next round as teams fill in the gaps is as follows:
- Sunday, June 28, 2026: 3 p.m. ET – South Africa vs. Canada — Los Angeles Stadium
- Monday, June 29, 2026: 1 p.m. ET — Brazil vs. Group F runners-up — Houston Stadium
- Monday, June 29, 2026: 4:30 p.m. ET — Germany vs. Group A/B/C/D/F third place — Boston Stadium
- Monday, June 29, 2026: 9 p.m. ET – Group F winners vs. Morocco — Monterrey Stadium
- Tuesday, June 30, 2026: 1 p.m. ET – Group E runners up vs. Group I runners-up — Dallas Stadium
- Tuesday, June 30, 2026: 5 p.m. ET – Group I winners vs. Group C/D/F/G/H third place – New York New Jersey Stadium
- Tuesday, June 30, 2026: 9 p.m. ET – Mexico vs. Group C/E/F/H/I third place — Mexico City Stadium
