Teyana Taylor, a native New Yorker, recently attended the Tribeca Film Festival, where she showcased her unique sense of style. Taylor, who was born and raised in Harlem, delivered two different takes on the classic Chanel uniform during the festival.
Teyana Taylor’s Style
Taylor’s approach to fashion is all about reflecting and enhancing her own personal style, which is equal parts sporty, sexy, and strong. She has said that her style is inspired by the latest runway offerings, but she always tries to make it her own.
At the Chanel’s Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner, Taylor wore an eggshell blue tweed skirt suit, layered over a sheer, floral embroidered button down. She kept her accessories minimal, but statement-making, with a single strand pearl necklace, punchy white sunglasses, and square-toe oxblood leather pumps from Chanel creative director Matthieu Blazy’s debut collection.
A day earlier, Taylor opted for a more approachable ensemble onstage for Tribeca and Chanel’s Through Her Lens discussion. She paired pleated trousers with a subtly slouchy graphic t-shirt, a multi-striped, cropped tweed Chanel jacket, and a maroon, custom-fitted Yankees baseball cap.
