Storms Move South of San Antonio with Minimal Damage Reported

Residents in the southern part of the San Antonio area experienced another round of storms this morning. These storms moved from west to east, primarily affecting areas south of the city. While San Antonio itself saw some light rain, the storms are expected to move eastward by mid-morning.

Clearing Skies and Humidity

As the day progresses, skies will begin to clear around midday, bringing sunshine by late afternoon. Despite the sunshine, temperatures will remain in the low 80s, accompanied by humidity from the previous day’s rainfall.

Rainfall Totals and Damage Reports

Overnight, most of San Antonio received at least an inch of rain. Higher rainfall totals were recorded in Kendall County and parts of Frio County. Fortunately, reports of damage have been minimal. Residents who have experienced damage are encouraged to share their photos with KSAT Connect.

Looking Ahead

The forecast for Thursday and Friday suggests generally dry conditions. However, there is a 30% chance of isolated showers and storms from Saturday night through Monday.
