Four Sheridan County High School athletes from the recently graduated Class of 2026 have been named as finalists for the 2026 Milward-Simpson Award. Beck Haswell, Keegan Rager, and Breck Reed of Sheridan High School, as well as Chaney Rash of Tongue River High School, are among the top athletes in Wyoming.
Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball
The Sheridan Troopers are back on the diamond, hosting a double-header against Lander in their first conference games of the season. First pitch is at 5pm, and the games can be watched on Sheridan Media TV.
In High School Rodeo, the Wyoming High School season has concluded, and the top athletes will compete in the High School National Finals Rodeo in Lincoln, Nebraska. Representing North Central Wyoming will be Carly Davis of Buffalo, Blue Butler of Bighorn, Riggan Pierce of Sheridan, Teagan Duncan of Claremont, and Kay Fraley of Sheridan.
The College National Finals Rodeo begins this Sunday, with six Cowboys and one Cowgirl from Sheridan College competing. The first two rounds will take place on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, and the top 12 will compete in the championship short go on Saturday, June 20th.
