A Northwest Side hair salon, Alta Moda Salon, was burglarized early Wednesday morning, with security camera video showing a person breaking through a glass window to enter the business.
Similar Break-Ins Reported
The crime appears to share similarities with other business break-ins that have happened recently in the area, including some in Alamo Heights. Two barber shops, a hair salon, and a health and wellness business called DRIPBaR were also targeted.
According to Matt Cochran, whose wife owns the salon, the burglars stole a few hundred dollars while ignoring other high-valued items. Cochran said he felt ‘violated’ by the crime, stating that the salon is like a second home to him and his wife.
The San Antonio Police Department has not yet responded to inquiries about whether the cases at The Rim and Alamo Heights might be connected.
