Montgomery City Councilor Removed

The Montgomery City Council has voted unanimously to remove District 3 City Councilor Marche Johnson from office. The council met Tuesday to continue last week’s meeting and immediately took up the matter.

Special Election Scheduled

A special election will take place on September 1 with qualifying to begin for that seat on June 30. Johnson has represented District 3 since 2021.
