The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is close to certifying the Boeing 737 MAX 7 and 10, according to Deputy FAA Administrator Chris Rocheleau. He stated that the certification of the two planes is “closer than ever before” and that the Boeing 777x will be certified after them.

The FAA’s certification process has been intensive, but the agency is working with Boeing to ensure that the planes meet all safety requirements. The certification of the 737 MAX 7 and 10 is expected to happen soon, with the 777x to follow.
