A multi-agency response resulted in the arrest of Adam Lacey, a Casper man, following a vehicle theft and assault in Evansville. The Evansville Police Department responded to a local business after a report of an adult male being assaulted and his pickup truck stolen.
Investigation and Arrest
During the investigation, officers learned that the suspect had allegedly fled the business in the victim’s truck, nearly striking a business employee at a high rate of speed. The suspect then fled the area and crashed on Interstate 25, where he exited the vehicle carrying a beer can and fled the scene on foot.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and traffic-related offenses that occurred on I-25. The Evansville Police Department continues to investigate the assault, vehicle theft, and related criminal offenses.
