Caitlin Clark scored 19 points, including a 31-foot game-winner, to lead the Indiana Fever to a 78-76 win over the Washington Mystics. Clark had been struggling with her shooting, but found her form in the crucial moments of the game.
Clark’s Big Night
Clark started strong, scoring 10 points in the first quarter, and continued to contribute throughout the game. Despite missing two free throws that could have given the Fever the lead, Clark made up for it with a beautiful half-court pass to Aliyah Boston, and then hit the game-winning three-pointer.
The Fever improved to 6-5 with the win, and will look to build on the momentum in their next game against the Chicago Sky. Clark’s performance was a welcome return to form for the 24-year-old superstar, who had been inconsistent in recent games.
