Two people were arrested and two others are being sought in a standoff at a storage facility in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday morning.
Incident Details
The incident began at around 1:35 a.m. when the manager of the storage facility, located at 1000 W. 6th Street, called police to report having seen people inside the storage facility. The manager told police they had seen people breaking into units, grabbing items and putting them into a car that they had taken inside.
Police set up a perimeter around the facility and monitored the scene. At one point, the suspects stuck their heads out of the storage facility but went back in, according to police.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area between 6th Street and Beaudry Avenue as the search for the other two suspected burglars continues.
