Chicago’s Logan Square Farmers Market is stretching its outdoor season with two additional pop‑up markets in Humboldt Park this November. The market’s final “Surplus Sundays” will take place on Sunday, Nov. 5, and again on Nov. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Erie Family Health Center at 2418 W. Division St. Parking is available across the street.
Since its launch in May, the market has drawn thousands of Chicagoans each Sunday, offering a rotating selection of more than 100 local farmers, food artisans, and vintage vendors. After wrapping up its regular outdoor schedule on Oct. 25, organizers announced the extra pop‑ups to give shoppers a final chance to purchase fresh, locally sourced goods before the market moves indoors.
What shoppers can expect
Visitors can expect the same vibrant atmosphere that has made Logan Square a regional food destination. Seasonal produce such as apples, pumpkins, and kale will be on display alongside homemade baked goods, artisanal cheeses, and handcrafted items from vintage vendors. The pop‑ups also provide an opportunity for small producers to clear remaining inventory before the winter transition.
Winter market to follow
Following the November pop‑ups, the market will reopen indoors on Nov. 28 at the Avondale Collective, 2800 N. Milwaukee Ave., at 10 a.m. The indoor venue will allow vendors to continue serving the community throughout the colder months while maintaining the same focus on local, sustainable food.
Community members are encouraged to support the market by shopping locally, which helps keep money circulating within Chicago neighborhoods and sustains family‑run farms and businesses. The market’s website provides up‑to‑date information on vendor line‑ups, hours, and any changes to the schedule.
For those unable to attend the pop‑ups, the indoor market will feature many of the same vendors, ensuring that Chicago residents can continue to access fresh, high‑quality food year‑round.
